Following collaboration between Aeromnia and the Romanian Aeronautical Authority, Romaero Factory from Bucharest, Romanian Aerospace Foundation, Mr. Alexandru Murg and personal support of Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Minister Mr. Radu Berceanu, we were able to display the replica of the airplane built in 1911 by Aurel Vlaicu.

Received with great interest by all participants and fans of flight at the World Air Games in Turin, the Vlaicu II shows, as if this was still necessary, that Romania was and should be present in world aviation history. The type of airplane Aurel Vlaicu invented and the aerodynamic solutions he discovered proved non only to be interesting but aroused much admiration by the scientists and pilots of the time.
